About this item

Broad Wire Compatibility– This pre-insulated connector offers exceptional flexibility by accommodating a wide range of wire gauges, from 1/0 to 14 AWG. This broad compatibility makes it suitable for diverse electrical projects, from high-power service entrances to smaller branch circuits.

Copper/Aluminum Design– This dual-sided entry connector expertly handles connections between both copper and aluminum wires. This feature eliminates concerns about galvanic corrosion often associated with dissimilar metal connections. The connector’s design ensures safe and reliable operation in mixed-metal wiring scenarios, making it a versatile solution for various applications.

Hex-Head Reliability– Unlike traditional twist-on or plastic connectors, this pre-insulated connector employs a robust hex-head bolt for secure and reliable wire termination. This design provides more consistent clamping force, reducing the risk of loose connections and ensuring long-term electrical integrity, as well as reducing risk of fire and shock.

UV-Resistant Insulation– The connector’s pre-insulated body is coated in a UV-resistant plastisol compound, providing exceptional protection against degradation from sunlight exposure. This coating resists cracking, fading, and other forms of UV damage.

Extreme Temperature Rated– This connector is designed to perform reliably in extreme temperature environments, operating between -49F (-45C) and 194F (90C). The broad operating temperature and heavy duty properties are a great option for those looking to keep their equipment functional in different applications.
